The De Luxe
The De Luxe is my take on the classic Kalamazoo-made slope shoulder dreadnought. This pattern can make for wonderful guitars in 12, 13, or 14 fret variations. Bracing can follow my 1935 Roy Smeck Stage Deluxe (tapered braces), or a 1936 AJ (Scalloped braces). Body Depth can be nearly uniform from head to tail like the early Jumbos, or follow the standard J-45 taper. Depending upon what options you pick, a De Luxe can be a fingerstyle lap piano or a straight up bluegrass flatpicker.
The most versatile (and varied) model I make, there is a De Luxe that can do the work you need it to do!
